日本で暮らすベトナムの方に、ベトナムの歌の話を聞くことから作られた、静かで私的な詩「母の母の母の日」が、100年前のベトナムの景色と、現在の久高島の景色を撮った映像とともに、街の風景に漂い溶け込んでいきます。すべての人々が持つ家族の歴史やルーツ、その当たり前の重みが、公共の場で行き交う人々の無意識に投げかけられる瞬間です。

A quiet and personal poem titled Diary of a Mom’s Mom’s Mom, created from conversations with Vietnamese people living in Japan about Vietnamese songs, drifts and blends into the cityscape alongside footage of Vietnam from 100 years ago and present-day Kudaka Island. It is a moment where the history and roots of families—something intrinsic to all—are subtly cast into the unconscious of those passing through this public space.
